  • ¾ cup freshly squeezed orange juice, chilled
  • 1 cup sparkling non alcoholic wine or sparkling white grape juice, chilled
  • 1 teaspoon simple syrup (optional)
  • Fresh pomegranate arils, for garnish
  • Thin orange wheels, for garnish
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Chill the champagne flutes before preparing the mocktails.
  2. Combine the pomegranate juice and orange juice in a small pitcher or measuring cup.
  3. Taste the fruit mixture and stir in simple syrup if additional sweetness is desired.
  4. Divide the pomegranate-orange mixture evenly between two chilled champagne flutes.
  5. Slowly top each glass with sparkling non alcoholic wine or sparkling white grape juice.
  6. Stir gently once to combine while preserving the bubbles.
  7. Garnish each glass with fresh pomegranate arils and a thin orange wheel.
  8. Add a rosemary sprig if desired for a festive holiday presentation.

Use 100% pomegranate juice rather than a sweetened juice cocktail for the richest fruit flavor.
