  • ½ cup 100% pomegranate juice
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons simple syrup (optional)
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh blueberries, for garnish
  • Pomegranate arils, for garnish
  • Lime wheel, for garnish
  • Fresh rosemary or mint sprig (optional)

Method
 

  1. Add the blueberries, pomegranate juice, lime juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Gently muddle the blueberries until they release their juices.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice.
  4. Shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds.
  5. Strain into two ice-filled serving glasses.
  6. Top each glass with sparkling water.
  7. Stir gently to combine.
  8. Garnish with fresh blueberries, pomegranate arils, a lime wheel, and rosemary or mint if desired.
  9. Serve immediately.

Use 100% pomegranate juice for the best flavor.
