  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • Ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Add the blueberries, pineapple juice, lime juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Muddle gently until the blueberries release their juices.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice.
  4. Shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds.
  5. Strain into two ice-filled glasses.
  6. Top each glass with sparkling water.
  7. Stir gently to combine.
  8. Garnish with fresh blueberries, a pineapple wedge, a lime wheel, and a mint sprig if desired.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

Taste the fruit mixture before adding extra simple syrup since pineapple sweetness can vary.
Frozen blueberries are an excellent substitute for fresh berries.
Freshly squeezed lime juice provides the brightest flavor.
Always add the sparkling water just before serving to preserve the fizz.
